Mike Ryan

Mike is a principal planner with over three decades experience in urban and environmental planning. Before establishing the practice, Mike gained professional experience working with some of Sydney’s largest councils in a number of senior executive roles including Director of Planning & Strategy at Warringah Council (now Northern Beaches) and as Deputy City Planner at Bankstown Council (now Canterbury Bankstown).

Mike has a Bachelor Urban & Regional Planning from Curtin University, Perth, Western Australia and a Post Graduate Certificate Public Sector Management from Griffith University, Queensland. Between 2004 and 2015, he was engaged as a sessional academic lecturer at the University of NSW teaching Development Process in both the Bachelor of Planning and Master of City Planning degrees.

Mike is currently a permanent panel member of the Sydney Eastern City Planning Panel (previously JRPP) and the Cumberland and Strathfield Local Planning Panels.
