Lynne Ryan has over two decades of experience in the urban planning and design field, having graduated with an Honours Degree (1982) in Town Planning from the University of New South Wales.
Lynne has multidisciplinary experience spanning 25 years working in private consultancy, the architectural industry and local government across Sydney. Lynne possesses a strong statutory planning background in development assessment and DA preparation across a broad spectrum of land uses with skills in due diligence reports and statutory planning advice.
From 2012 to 2016, Lynne was engaged by Lane Cove Council to manage and co-ordinate multiple infrastructure building projects from concept design through to approval stages. Responsibilities included preparation of DAs, construction and occupation certificates, and the assessment of project tenders and supervision of external consultants. Integral to this role was the need for an ethical and responsible approach to balancing the interests of Council, community groups, local residents and other stakeholders.
As an independent planning consultant, Lynne has also been responsible for preparing Planning Proposals (rezonings) varying in scale from site specific proposals to current large scale town centre revitalisation projects.
