Ryan Planning Pty Ltd is a Sydney based town planning practice dedicated to providing professional planning services to the building and development industry across a wide range of private and government organisations.
The practice was established in 2004 and comprises husband and wife team, Michael and Lynne Ryan who have over 50 years of collective working experience and knowledge in the NSW planning system.
Our aim is to portray the practice as 'practical experienced planners' providing individual and viable solutions to each project.
The practice is highly diversified in terms of the work undertaken. Our emphasis is on statutory planning, physical land use planning and environmental assessment. The nature of our established clientele and the scale and type of work we undertake demonstrates the flexibility of our approach.
Michael Ryan has 30 years experience working in both Local Government and private consultancy. Prior to establishing Ryan Planning, he was Director of Planning at Warringah Council and has also held a number of senior executive positions at Bankstown and Hornsby Councils. His expertise is in the development and statutory planning fields and providing strategic advice on the practices and complexities of Local Government and its inner sanctum.
Lynne Ryan has over 20 years experience in Local Government and private consultancy, including her role as senior planner with Rice Daubney Architects & Urban Planners. Her expertise is statutory and development planning and the prepartion of rezoning submissions and urban design guidelines. Lynne has a very strong understanding of policies and procedures across a diverse range of land uses.
