Ryan Planning Pty Ltd is a Sydney based town planning practice dedicated to providing professional planning services to the building and development industry across a wide range of private and goverrnment organisations.
The practice was established in 2004 and comprises husband and wife team, Michael and Lynne Ryan, in response to the increasing demand for personalised planning services with the capability of understanding and interpreting the complexities of the NSW planning approval system.
Our strategic aim is to portray the practice as 'thinking planners' providing individual and viable solutions to each project.
The practice is highly diversified in terms of the work undertaken. Our emphasis is on statutory planning, physical land use planning and envirornmental assessment. The varied nature of our established clientele and the scale and type of work undertaken, illustrates the flexibility of our approach.
Michael Ryan has extensive experience on a variety of planning projects in both Local Government and private consultancy having been the Director of Planning at Warringah Council and held a number of senior executive positions at Bankstown and Hornsby Councils. His expertise is in the development and statutory planning fields and providing strategic advice on the practices and complexities of Local Government and its inner sanctum.
Lynne Ryan has over 20 years experience in Local Government and private consultancy, including her role as senior planner with Rice Daubney Architects & Urban Planners. Her expertise is in statutory and development planning and the prepartion of rezoning submissions and urban design guidelines. Lynne has a very good understanding of policies and procedures across a diverse range of land uses.
